Banana Nut Bread

 

1/2 cup butter

2 eggs

2 cups self-rising flour

1 cup sugar

4 ripened bananas, mashed

1/2 cup nuts (optional)

Cream sugar, eggs and butter in a medium size bowl. Beat well.

Add bananas and mix well.

Add the flour and nuts if desired and mix well.

Pour batter in loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees.

Slice and serve while hot, with butter,

or cool and slice like bread. You can toast in toaster

for a morning snack.
