Since my children's
arrival in my life I have tried to instill a sense of who they
are, where they came from, and where they will go in the future.
I often told my young daughter that she was "my princess" and
I still do.
When she was
the tender age of two, I pulled her close one evening after bathing
her, called her "My Princess" and then told her that we must go
get her nightgown and panties.
She turned around and gave
me a regal glare, (one which convinced me that I had indeed gotten
my message across about her becoming royalty one day) and calmly
stated "Queens don't wear panties!"
I think she still feels that
way.
